So Far
So far this trip is everything I've ever thought it would be...and better. I'm writing from Edinburgh, after being in Barcelona and Paris. Tomorrow we leave for Amsterdam until Sunday. As soon as I get back to my Mac, I'm going to be looking up jobs in Edinburgh; this city was meant for me.

Buon Viaggio
Today, after one meeting, one paper and one exam, I leave for fall break. Cerca 17:00, I embark on my all-over European excursion. I will be in Barcelona from tonight until Saturday night, basking in the Spanish I do know. From Sunday until Tuesday I will be roaming around Paris (staying safe, of course) visiting the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Versailles. Tuesday until Thursday I will be checking out Edinburgh, Scotland, enjoying the cold. And I will end my trip with a visit to Amsterdam until Halloween.
I wish I was going to take my computer with me but I don't have near enough room. So...this blog will be a bit colorless until I return.
Wish me luck!

Cinque Terre, the Most Gorgeous Place on Earth
Last weekend (8/10-10/10), seven of us got away for the weekend for some sun, hiking and for some fun. Cinque Terre, five cities within eight miles of each other, was the most gorgeous place I've ever been to by far. We stayed in the fifth city, Monterosso al Mare, in an apartment. On Friday, we went to the beach and jumped off cliffs and we played around in the town at night. Saturday, we hiked to the third city, came back and swam some more and made a nice homemade dinner. It was nice to finally be able to cook again. Around every corner there was something new, something I'm glad to have seen through my own eyes.

Venezia
A little late posting pictures from a weekend in Venice but it was a great time. Everything about Italy is incredible. I can't say I've ever had a bad day here. Venice was beautiful. We had a tour of a glass blowing studio, walking tour of the Palace Ducale and a late night tour of San Marco all alone. I am so very lucky to experience so many new things all at once.
